About

This course introduces healthcare providers to the foundations of advocacy in the HIV response. You will explore why advocacy matters, how it differs from activism, and the unique role healthcare providers can play in promoting stigma-free, inclusive and rights‑based HIV care. Through real-world case studies, practical tools and reflective exercises, the course guides you through building partnerships, focusing advocacy efforts, communicating evidence effectively and sustaining meaningful change.

Each module includes quizzes and practical activities to help you apply advocacy concepts in your professional context and beyond. This course is designed as a practical starting point for healthcare providers who want to strengthen their impact as advocates within healthcare systems and communities.
