The most useful part of the Mental Health and HIV course was learning how mental health and HIV are deeply interconnected. I found it especially valuable to understand how depression, anxiety, and stigma can affect treatment adherence and overall quality of life for people living with HIV. The course also highlighted practical approaches to providing psychosocial support, promoting resilience, and integrating mental health care into HIV services lessons that are directly applicable in community outreach and counseling work.
