Ndum Charlotte Ayeah is a Young Leader and Youth Hub Grantee from the 2025 cohort. She worked in partnership with the IAS and her host organization, Association of Adolescent Girls and Young Women Cameroon, to create her project "Storytelling for HIV awareness and advocacy". Her project harnesses the power of personal narratives from young people living with HIV. She aims to inspire change, promote compassionate understanding, and drive policy reform for a more inclusive and resilient healthcare system in conflict-affected communities in Cameroon. This is a story that was shared by a young person living with HIV, who participated in Charlotte's workshop, named Manka. Her profound story demonstrates her resilience and shows that sharing one's story can empower and inspire others.
