Ending HIV criminalization: lessons from Zimbabwe

This webinar, organized by IAS – the International AIDS Society, in collaboration with the HIV Justice Network, discussed HIV criminalization, focusing on Zimbabwe’s landmark progress. In 2022, the country repealed its HIV-specific criminal law, and in 2024, efforts to recriminalize HIV were successfully blocked. This webinar explores the lessons learned from Zimbabwe and the broader implications for HIV justice worldwide.

The webinar recording is also available in French.
