This session examines gene editing tools and the cellular engineering strategies that support the development of gene editing therapies for HIV. Focus areas include in vivo/ex vivo editing, enhancing engraftment and survival of modified cells, and designing cells resistant to HIV infection. The session will bridge foundational science with clinical translation efforts.
