HIV prevention in constrained settings

Increasingly conservative settings and the global realignment triggered by the USAID and PEPFAR funding cuts are dramatically impacting and reshaping the environment in which governments, communities, civil society and healthcare workers operate – and they have to adjust to maintain HIV prevention services. This webinar provided insights into providing HIV prevention services in increasingly constrained environments.

Participants explored how diverse countries and stakeholders have been navigating HIV prevention constraints in the past and more recently. Speakers highlighted how they continue to achieve victories through examples of strategic pivoting, new guidelines, mobilization, collaborations and solidarity from local to international levels.
