Introducing a new National Stigma and Discrimination Review and Planning Tool

Alexandrina Iovita serves as the Senior Advisor for Human Rights at The Global Fund. With over two decades of experience in international development, her expertise encompasses human rights, program management, public health and monitoring and evaluation. Previously she worked in NGOs, academia, and the United Nations at both country and headquarters levels. She holds a PhD in International Law and a Master of Public Health.

Since 2019, Elsie Ayeh has represented Recipients of Care on the Ghana country team at the ICAP-CQUIN. She is a member of the Community Advocacy Network, the President of the Ghana Network of Persons Living with HIV, a Substantive member of the HIV Constituency since 2020 on the Ghana Country Coordination Mechanism.

Sheilla has over 10 years of experience in health, human rights, gender, and research. As a national consultant, she provides technical support to Kenya’s HIV, TB, and Malaria programmes on HRG. She has led and supported research initiatives, including Global Fund BDB assessments and a rapid desk review for the IAS S&D tool in Kenya. Sheilla also has extensive experience in building strategic partnerships across government, civil society, and donors, advancing impactful, rights-based health responses.

Jane Mukami is a Human Rights and Gender expert with a wealth of experience programming for HIV, Sexual Reproductive Health, and Rights (SRHR) and public health while ensuring that human rights-based approaches and gender are integrated in the programmes. She coordinates the joint technical working group on HIV, TB and Malaria in Kenya and participated in the Global Fund Grant cycle 7 proposal writing in Kenya with a key focus on the Human Rights and Gender module.
