Women Know What Works - Session 2

Medea Khmelidze, Master of Social Work, has been in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights for more than 15 years.  She is Executive Director of Eurasian Women's Network on AIDS and Advocacy officer at Union of PLHIV in Georgia -Real People Real VIsion.  Medea Khmelidze is one of the co-founders of the Eurasian Key Population Health Network. Also from 2018 to 2022, she was the Advisory Board Member of East Europe Central Asia and Balkan Countries women reproductive rights network “ASTRA Network”. She has been involved in the research work since 2012 up to date. Topics include but are not limited to medical and social needs of vulnerable and marginalized populations, human rights violation analyses through the prism of social justice, and access to medical and social services. Medea Khmelidze is currently a lecturer of Professional Development at the Georgian-American University School of Medicine.
